Bullying Prevention

The High Desert ESD maintains the position that every child should be able to attend school free from fear of bullying, harassment, or persecution. In today’s world, our children are exposed to more than ever through avenues like social media, interactive video games, and the internet. The High Desert ESD supports local schools with their plans to reduce bullying and create a positive learning enviroment for youth. 

In 2021, the Department of Education released official guidance to school districts regarding bullying, its impacts, and the requirements that schools districts must abide by to support its students. A copy of that guidance can be found here.
